Welcome and thank you so much for visiting my page. My name is Rita and I am the owner of Handmade by Rita. Just a little background of myself. I am orginally from Cape Verde islands. Came to the states at a young age. For as long as I can remember, I always had a passion for creativity. In 3rd grade I remember collecting milk cartons during lunch and coming home to make crayon and pencil holders. My teacher loved it so much that she allowed me to sell it to my classmates. I remember selling it for .25 each and that's where it all started. Fast forward to today, I am a mother raising 3 amazing kids while juggling life and following my passion. My main goal is to create pieces that will put a smile on your face!
